MC - 5 Skeins Aran
CC - 1 Skein Burgundy
GRAPH CROSS STITCH COLORS
2 oz / 57 g each - Coffee, Cafe Latte,  Burgundy, Claret, Country Blue, Windsor Blue, Medium Thyme, and Tea Leaf.
●    Tapestry needle
●    Size N (10.00 mm) Afghan hook or size to obtain gauge.
GAUGE
13 bars and 10 rows = 4 Inches

FINISHED SIZE
51 X 74 inches

PATTERN NOTES
The afghan is crocheted in squares then sewn together. Cross Stitch or follow the graph to crochet in the design using the Apple Basket graph on 6 squares.

SPECIAL STITCHES
Puff Stitch:  Yo pull up a long lp in indicated st, *yo and pull up a long lp in the same sp, rep from * 1 time (7 lps on hook), yo and draw through all lps on hook, ch 1.
Note: The long lp should be the height of a dc.

INSTRUCTIONS

SQUARES - Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS)
Make 12
With color MC, ch 42.  Work 35 rows in TSS with MC. Bind off.

SQUARE BORDER
Row 1:  With CC work 1 row of sc evenly around each square; working 3 sc in each corner. Fasten off.
Row 2:  Join MC in any corner sp, ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, *sk 1 sc, puff stitch in next sp, rep from * around working 3 dc in each corner. Fasten off MC.
Row 3:  Work 1 row Sc around square with color B; working 3 sc in each corner;  fasten off.
Weave the squares together alternating with plain squares.

OUTSIDE BORDER

Join MC in any corner sp.
Row 1:  Work sc with MC evenly around afghan working 3 sc in each corner. Fasten off.
Row 2:  Work the same as for Row 2 of Square Border.  Fasten off.
Row 3:  Work the same as Row 1 Outside Border.  Fasten off.
